Being unhoused in New Jersey affects 12,680 people (a 24% increase from 2023) according to a January 2024 Point-In-Time (PIT) Count. *

The report also indicated that:

  • 55% identified as Male / 42% Female.

  • 22% were children under the age of 18.

  • 20% were adults ages 55+.

  • 5% are Veterans

  • 46% reported one or more disabilities.

  • 30% have been unhoused for more than 1 year.
